Growth

woman-wipe.jpgKimberley Clarke market research established that 63% of Americans had experimented with a wet “cleansing method” and that one out of four uses a moist wipe daily. Most of these people are using a baby wipe, but baby wipes usually can’t go into a septic system (‘Pinks’ are biodegradable and fully cable of being ‘flushed’ down the conventional toilet system).

Wet toilet tissues however have a far greater appeal and demand in European countries such as UK, Germany and Switzerland. Almost 36% of Swiss consumers use moist tissue in combination with standard toilet paper (source; Euromonitor Int). Such healthy statistics go to confirming a strong future for ‘Pinks’ within the vending market.

growth chart

During the years 2004 -2008, spending in the dental hygiene area in the UK has increased by an incredible 34% overall with a further expected cumulative growth of 16% between 2009 and 2013. These figures clearly show a consumer trend to better oral care of which ‘Finger Teeth Wipes’ can clearly exploit within the vending markets.
